Nightwing #68

Overall- What the hell??? Another Batman crossover! This issue is part of the Bruce Wayne:Fugitive crossover, and is part 6 of said crossover. Part 6?!?!?! Nightwing's first entry into this crossover is at part 6? Oh boy...

OK. To be blunt, I don't have any idea what was going on in this comic, and honestly, I'm getting a little burned out by all the Batman crossovers in this comic book... This is a Nightwing comic book. I'd like the story to be a little bit more about him and a little bit less about the Bat. I can't really comment on the BW:Fugitive stuff, because I didn't have a clue as to what happened in the 5 issues leading up to this part of the cross over. Hey, if anyone remembers what this story was about, I be more then happy to hear from you...

As for the Nightwing related stuff in this comic, it seems the partnership between Torque and Nite-Wing is finally coming to an end. The idiotic Nite-Wing still sees himself as a vigilante who is fighting for justice, while Torque bluntly considers himself a villain. Torque plans on trying to take over the Brudhaven underworld, while Nite-Wing just wants to dole out justice to those he feels deserves it. Their disagreement comes to a head with several gunshots being fired off panel, so we don't know what exactly happened.

Another surprisingly poor showing from this comic, as I had pretty much enjoyed it from its onset. Hopefully, the Batman crossovers will end soon, and Nightwing will go back to being about, you know, NIGHTWING! Score wise this one gets a 3 1/2 out of 10, mainly because I don't know what was going on in the BW:Fugitive storyline.
