Overall- Well, with this issue, we find out for sure that Capt. Amy knows that Dick is Nightwing, since she repeatedly called him Dick while he was in his Nightwing garb. Dick manages to get Amy out of Deathstroke's way but catches a beating in the process. The next day, Dick puts 2 + 2 together and realizes that the guy who put the hit on Amy was Inspector Arnot, who was a big wig when the former Police Chief Redhorn was in power.
Arnot apparently stole $30,000 from the police evidence room to pay Deathstroke with. Unfortunately, Dick has no real way to prove this yet... Anyway, Deathstroke is still trying to kill Amy, so Dick throws $30,000.50 at him to hire him not to kill her. Out of his grudging respect for Dick, Slade takes the deal and calls off the hit. In the aftermath of this issue, Amy tells Dick to hand over his badge, and that she wouldn't allow him to be a cop anymore. What could that mean...
Also of note in this issue is that Blockbuster finds out that it was a traffic accident that contributed to his mother's heart failure, and gets a copy of a tape that shows the traffic accident. Upon seeing the tape, Blockbuster flies into a rage.
Once again, I liked this comic. I liked the way Dick payed Slade off to not do the job, it was a pretty smart move, considering Dick knew that Slade wouldn't stop until the hit was done. My one real bone of contention comes from the Blockbuster scenes. Blockbuster's mother died because she was concerned about Blockbuster's impending heart operation, not a traffic accident... Oh well, I guess this is a case of revisionist history. For a score, I'll give this comic the same score I gave the other parts of this series, a 7 1/2 out of 10.
