Those are the comics I've actually bothered to review. I've also been reading through the old JSA series, as well as some random stuff that managed to catch my eye. Last month(May)I doled out 7 perfect scores to only 2 this month(June)... My favorite comic of this month was easily Green Lantern Corps #37. Wolverine #72 was also damn good, but GLC was really special. The worst comic I had the misfortune of reading this past month was New Avengers #53, also known as the Dread Lord BENDIS strikes back! Ah BENDIS... He never ceases to amaze me. And I mean that in a bad way! The biggest surprise of the month had to be the fact that I only gave X-Factor #44 a 6 out of 10. After how red-hot X-Factor was during the early part of this year, I'm slightly disappointed by how things have been tailing off. With that said though, I'm still confident that Peter David is going to return to his usual brilliant form in that series. With Captain America: Reborn and Blackest Night getting underway this month, I'm expecting a lot more than the measly two perfect scores I handed out during the month of June.

Huh, I sure did read a lot of comic this month... That list only has the comics I posted reviews for, not all of the books I didn't bother to blog about. I've also read a few issues of the Runaways(which were pretty brutal), a whole mess of Wolverine: Origins(which were great!)along with some older Action Comics(Geoff Johns wrote them, of course I enjoyed them)and a couple of Superboy's(they were bad). The worst comic I read this month would easily have to be Oracle #3, while the best would be the Escape from Bizarro World storyline from some older issues of Action Comics. The biggest surprise of the month? The fact that I gave Dark Avengers #4(which was written by my favorite whipping boy, BENDIS)a 8 1/2 out of 10! How crazy is that??? This month saw me give out 7 perfect scores, way up from the 2 I handed out last month. Here's hoping June proves to be as good as May was.

Well, there you have it. If anybody is interested in checking out any reviews for these comics, they're all listed under April on the blog main page. For the month of April I only gave 2 comics out of the 40 I reviewed a perfect score of 10 out of 10. Last month I had 9 perfect scores out of 30 comics... Apparently I've been in a much worse mood this month as opposed to last!

Out of the 30 books/mini-series I reviewed this month, I gave 9 of these books a perfect score(including giving 2 comics/series better than perfect scores!).

Out of those 9 perfect comics, my favorite book for the month of March would have to be: "War of Kings" #1 from Marvel. The comic with the dubious distinction of being the worst book I read all month goes to "Teen Titans" #68 from DC. So, there you have it. 9 perfect scores out of 30 comics is pretty good, and hopefully April will prove to be just as satisfying.
