End of the semester wrap-up.

WARNING: No comic book content follows!!! So, Monday the 14th is the last day of classes for the fall 2009 semester for me. That brings both good news and bad news. The good news is that once school wraps up on Monday I'm free for approximately 1 month. That means I can spend an inordinate amount of time posting on my blog, as well as haunting around my favorite blogs. The bad news is that I've got a CRAZY amount of papers, tests and homework to take care of this upcoming week. In order to take care of this excess of work, I definitely won't have any new content up Sunday or Monday, and depending on how things go, possibly Tuesday as well... I'll try to post at least something to the scan site nightly, but if I'm too backed up HW wise, I'll probably neglect that site as well for the next 2 or 3 days. Although I won't be posting any new content, I'll still be checking the blog at least once a day for comments. And I'll make sure to respond to any comments left for me because I LOVE comments! I really do! Hell, the reason I even do this blog is so I can get comments from my fellow comic fans. So feel free to pick a random post and leave some comments behind, that will help break up the monotony of my school work. I guess that's going to be all for now. Thanks for reading, and as always, Long Live The Legion!

  1. As I always say (okay this is the first time I've ever really stated it online), comments= life blood.

I remember those days of end-of-semester due dates. For a procrastinator like myself, there were some pretty close calls. I still have those , even though I have a job now.

Man, wouldn't it be nice to blog for a living? With a month off ,it sounds like you'll get that chance.

    Good luck X-Man!

  2. Ah yes, comments do indeed equal lifeblood Kello. Very nicely put.

Usually I try to finish things well in advance, but this semester it seems like all of my professors gathered together and decided to wait until practically the end of the term before dumping a whole mess of papers in my lap!

Blogging for a living is like my ultimate unattainable goal in life. How awesome would it be to just blog and get paid for it!

Thanks Mr. SuperKello, I'll need it!

  8. Hey, even after taking a full semester of Spanish, and passing with an A(there's absolutely NO way I'm getting anything less!)my Spanish vocab skills aren't all that much better!

  9. I've taken far too many languages so they all mesh together now, I'll quickly throw you a sentence with Spanish, French, Latin, English and a little slang for good measure.

  10. The most awesome thing is the fact that you could throw out a sentence with Latin in it! I still get a kick out of you learning Latin... What a strange language for you to have to learn.

  11. Lol i hated that class so much. And of ALL the schools to teach latin, they taught it at an Inner city Highschool....like WHY? What purpose does that serve?

  12. That's what makes me laugh about it so much! What were the people who run the Detroit area HS's thinking? Latin, really?!?

  13. Yeah I couldn't believe I had that class. I still wanna know how in my four years of Highschool I ended up somehow getting Latin for a year, two years of French, and Two separate semesters of Gym, once in 9th and my senior year. Someone was asleep at the wheel.

  14. Further proof that High School sucks! Man did I hate HS... College is like 100,000% better.

  15. I went to a trade school and experience the freedom of college but I'm not a college dude. You don't seem like the college party type either.

  16. Yeah, you're definitely right Jason, I'm not the prototypical college type. I'm not the kind of guy who is going to hang out at the school arcade, at the ice rink or with my classmates at a kegger or something like that. I'm not there to screw around, I'm there with one purpose in mind, to get my degree and get out! Nothing more, nothing less! A College degree equals a better paying job, and more money equals more comic books! :)

  17. Same as me, all that other stuff is just a distraction, I'm trying to get in get out, so I can get a good job and have a great life.
