Hey everyone, JT here once again after a pretty busy week. I wasn't able to get a review up Sunday or Tuesday due to being busy lately but hopefully you guys didn't mind. But now, moving on to my favorite
weekday, TGIW, it's Comic book day! My haul for this week
is actually pretty impressive, and as always you guys feel free to comment below, let me know what
you want to see a review for most, and you can more than likely expect
to it soon. And of course, I'm always curious to
see what you guys are reading as well, so feel free to let me know what
you decided to grab at the shop.
Now, let's get to it! This week I picked up
Dial H #4, Earth 2 #4, Smallville #4, World's Finest #4, Avengers Academy #34, Avengers vs. X-Men #9, Avenging Spider-Man #10, Deadpool kills the Marvel Universe #1, First X-Men #1, Hawkeye #1, and Ultimate Spider-Man #13. So, eleven books, let me know which ones you guys
would like me to review/discuss, and we'll take it from there guys. Til
tomorrow, JT signing off!

First X-Men #1. Works for me, but I don't know how everyone else felt. So many X-books, it's nice to see something that I don't have to read a million comics to follow.
ReplyDelete11 Comics!! Man you are doing a good work so we dont miss a certain guy who used to post here.. (I'm blanking on his name now)
ReplyDeleteFor the comics I would like to see you doing a review my vote may seem odd but it goes goes to Dial H #4 havent read any issue of the series (and when it was anounces I was pissed about they chossing it over a Cass/Steph book or any other of the missing character) but good reviews apeared everywheer and picked my curiosity...So maybe you convice me
And for the book I'm reading this week
Action Comics #12
Animal Man #12
Batwing #12
Earth 2 #4
Stormwatch #12
Swamp Thing #12
Avengers Academy #34 (or you can review this one first too!)
Hawkeye #1
X-Factor #241
I would suggest Hawkeye. I am not even a big fan of Hawkeye but that new comic was interesting. I could see myself picking up more of those.
ReplyDeleteDEADPOOL KILLS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE #1! Even IGN liked this one.
ReplyDeleteCool, thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll try to get all five of those up for you guys, although if I read something that I think NEEDS to be reviewed, it may get a bump up. :D
ReplyDeleteIs X reading "Hawkeye?" He better be!
ReplyDeleteLol, yeah, I talked to him Tuesday night and he said he was definitely gonna pick up Hawkeye.
ReplyDeleteHey Jason do you ever read X-Factor I know X was really into it but I don't think you've ever picked it up you should its pretty good.
ReplyDeleteDid you see the trailer for the animated adaptation of the Dark Knight Returns what are you're thoughts?
Hey Anon, I actually haven't read X-Factor, I don't know too much about it, but you're welcome to try to sell me on it if you like.
ReplyDeleteI haven't yet, unlike most people I actually wasn't a fan of TDKR surprisingly, plus Kevin Conroy isn't playing Bats and that made me care even less. Did it look good though?
Meh honestly I think it's not going to be as good as the Red Hood movie they did. Truth is just wish the Marvel Animation department will one day find the balls to animate all star batman and robin the boy wonder, a man can only dream...
DeleteAnyway you definitely should read X-Factor, i would advise starting from the beginning and I know it's pretty long but almost every issue is worth looking at, im not really good at selling this kinda stuff but you should totally ask X I know he loves this stuff and can explain it much better than I.
Agreed, my favorites so far have been Red Hood and Public Enemies, they haven't had anything that's come close to those in my opinion, but All Star Bats and Robin would be pretty interesting.
DeleteI'll definitely ask X about it, if anyone can sell me on it, it's him. Hell, he tricked me into running his blog. Lol
