What? More new comics?!?

Yeah, so I broke my own rule and ordered myself comic books two times in the same month. What can I say, I don't have any willpower... With that stated, lets run down exactly what I purchased and why.

Secret Six #4- Well, this one is easy to explain. Gail Simone wrote it, and it's the Secret Six. What more do I really need to say?

Titans #8- I've been enjoying this comic(for the most part)since the first issue, but I'll be intrigued to see what direction Judd Winick takes the whole "Jericho turns evil again" storyline. All I can say is I'm getting mighty tired of members of the Titans turning on the team practically every issue...

Trinity #28- Eventually I'll read this series... Really I mean it. Probably when all 52 issues are out.

What If?:Fallen Son #1- I hate "Civil War", but since it's a What If? comic book, I felt obligated to buy it.

Detective Comics #851- It's a part of the Batman "Last Rites" storyline, which I kind of figured I should read since I intend on collecting Batman comics from now on.

Final Crisis #5(of 7)- Once again this is an obvious buy.

Final Crisis:Revelations #4(of 5)- I'd have brought this comic regardless of the cover, but once I saw that Huntress was on the cover, that sealed the deal.

Green Arrow and Black Canary #15- I'll be interested to see what new writer, Andrew Kreisberg has in store for GA&BC.

House of M:Civil War #4(of 5)- This is one of those comics I'm collecting, but I'm not sure why... I know I had a reason when I brought the first issue of this mini-series, but right now, I have no clue. I'll give this a read sometime after the last issue comes out.

Justice League of America #27- Here's hoping this issue is better than the last couple of issues.

Secret Invasion:Dark Reign #1- I only brought this comic to torture myself. I know I'll hate it, but I'll read it regardless. By the way, am I the only one who notices that this whole "Dark Reign" idea is a flagrant rip-off of DC's "Secret Society of Super-Villains"? Just saying...

Batman/Nightwing:Bloodborne- I only picked this comic out to reach the free shipping from my online comic shop. Hopefully it will be worth it.

X-Men:Manifest Destiny #2- I brought this comic for the Juggernaut story in it, that's the only reason. I DEFINITELY won't be buying any more of this series.

Hank Pym and Ultron-12 (part 1)

I figured I'd post some pretty funny stuff involving Hank Pym and Ultron
Not many people would be dumb enough to agree to meet with Ultron alone, and without telling any of their teammates. Well, besides Hank Pym that is.
Awww, how nice. Ultron doesn't want to kill Pym, he just wants to have a heart to heart conversation with him.
I love how dramatic Pym is here!

No Ultron, it isn't an easy concept to swallow that your only "offspring" will be a homicidal robot...

Hank Pym and Ultron-12 (part 2)

Umm, could Pym be anymore dramatic here? I love Pym's thought process here.
What will Pym do???
This is probably one of my all-time favorite pictures right here. The fact that Ultron is hugging Pym is crazy enough, but Pym's thoughts about Ultron's face cracks me up every time!
So, now Ultron-12 is Pym's son...
Believe it or not, it only gets weirder from here!

Hank Pym and Ultron-12 (part 3)

What exactly does Ultron mean when he tells Pym he just might be a "grandfather" someday???
Yeah, you sucked as a husband Pym. Is it just me or is this whole situation just really bizarre?
When did this comic book suddenly become an episode of Dr. Phil???
How observant of you Pym. Yes, there are 2 Ultrons.
"What kind of Ultron are you, Twelve?". "An Ultron who loves his father!"??? BWA-HA-HA-HA!!!

Hank Pym and Ultron-12 (part 4)

Ultron-11 sure doesn't like Ultron-12.
Well, that's one way to deal with Ultron-12... I love Pym's horrified reaction on the ground.
So, Ultron-12 manages to put his head back on(the wrong way!)and with the help of Wonder Man and Pym, Ultron-12 manages to destroy Ultron-11, but not without a heavy toll.
I think this may qualify for the most dramatic robot death I have EVER read!
Speaking of dramatic! These are some of the funniest lines I have ever read! Can you imagine what Wonder Man must be thinking? He must think he's on Bizzaro World! Hank Pym crying over the "dead" body of an Ultron... Madness!

Hank Pym and Ultron-12 (part 5)

This was Pym's reaction to the "death" of his "son", Ultron Mark 12.
So, Pym has been divorced by his wife, disgraced himself in front of his Avenger teammates, and lost his "son", the formerly homicidal robot, Ultron Mark 12. What does he decide to do after all of this happens to him? Commit suicide of course! The best part is how logical he makes the whole thing seem. Boy, what a great lesson for all the kids out there! When the going gets tough, kill yourself!
Pym comes close to doing the deed, but in the end, he decides not to pull the trigger(mainly thanks to the intervention of Firebird). Now, I know that I shouldn't have been laughing throughout the entire redemption/death of Ultron Mark 12, but I just couldn't help myself! Some of the dialogue, especially between Pym and his "son", is just so ridiculous, it's actually funny! These scans are just another reason I get such a kick out of Hank Pym. The guy is easily one of the smartest people in the Marvel Universe, but mentally Pym is a basket case! Oh well, hopefully someone out there will have a sense of humor as warped as I do and find some of these scans entertaining.

Damage=God???

Umm... Gee, Grant not too full of yourself, huh?

Young Justice, Possessed! Plus, where have all the fun, teen super-hero comics gone?

Boy, I REALLY miss this comic book and these characters... Out of the original Young Justice team, only Robin and Wonder Girl are still active. That's too bad, because these characters really formed a great TEAM. Peter David did such a good job establishing the relationships between these characters and I always loved Todd Nauck's art in this series. Todd's art completely fit with the lighthearted nature of this series. That's one of the things missing from both DC and Marvel today. A well-written, lighthearted, teen oriented comic book. Everything nowadays is just one "serious" battle after another. Hell, even the original New Mutants had some downtime every now and then, and they were being led by Magneto!
