Some Quick Thoughts on: Batgirl #14

Batgirl #14: Writer: Bryan Q Miller. Pencils: Lee Garbett.

Quick Thoughts: Batgirl and Supergirl decide to get together in their alter-egos and have a nice, quiet night. Needless to say, that doesn't happen, as due to a science experiment gone awry, 24 Draculas spawn from an old movie and run around tormenting the students at Batgirl's college. After some difficulty, the girls manage to defeat and destroy each one of the Draculas. Their Dracula experience also leads to them becoming closer friends.

This was an okay one-off sort of story, but with how awesome this series always seems to be, “okay” is actually a letdown. This series seems to be in some sort of a strange holding pattern lately. Maybe it's the Bruce Wayne Return thing, or maybe that's just the way Bryan is planning it out, but the last two issues have been quite forgettable.

Score: 7 1/2 out of 10."BLAH-HAHAHAHA"... Classic...

  1. Lol, I haven't read this yet. In that pile of "I'll get to you soon I promise" comics. Lol, BUT from the looks of this review sounds pretty lame. I'm over vampires, thanks to Twilight. Hopefully I can semi-enjoy this. Lol.

  3. Lol, well thank you sir. I swear that's what I hear when I look at the pile. My novels used to do the same...lol. I have soo many books I've bought and intended to read and comics became my new hobby and now the comics are slowly speaking to me lol. They even may be collecting dust =^O!!

  4. I've got to take a pic of my bedroom and post it one day... You'd be shocked by how many piles of unread comics I have laying around. It's terrible!

  5. Lol. Ha I'm almost embarrassed to even think of taking a pic of my room. Lol. It's back to looking like a busy college students dorm room. Lol. I've been so freaking busy, everything is just...everywhere. Lol.

  6. HA, I hear ya, Lisha... It's like whenever I have some spare time I always find something else to do besides straighten up my bedroom. Out of all of the rooms in my place, my bedroom is the one that is the most neglected by far!
