Arkham City!
Hey X-Maniacs, just figured I'd let you know I picked up Batman: Arkham City earlier today and have been playing it for most of the day. And in case you were wondering, yes, it does live up to the hype. As such, I don't have any new reviews to post... On the plus side, I didn't actually have any new comics left to review, so it was going to be a few retro-reviews I put up tonight anyway. But never fear, tomorrow is New Comic Day, and Arkham City or no, I WILL be picking up a mess of new comics, I WILL be posting my weekly New Comic Day post and I WILL be posting a review for Fear Itself #7 sometime tomorrow(along with a few other reviews). Trust me, I'm already looking forward to it! Until then though, I'll throw a random scan out there and sign off with the usual... X out!

I was excited to hear from JT you'd be getting this. I haven't put much time into playing but what amount of time I did...loved every moment.

Well it was basically JT who made me pick up Arkham City! I've got to say though, I'm mighty glad he did because from what I've played of it it's been a blast. But like you, I really haven't played it all that much, I think I've only completed like 7% of the game thus far... So I still have WAAAAAAYS to go!

I think I remember him mentioning that. I think I asked him if you were getting it. I had been aching to play it all day, but didn't want to seem rude since JT came over for the weekly visit. lol. But he said it was cool...thus the grappling began!! lol. He even showed me the challenge maps with Catwoman and Robin, which I totally forgot about lol.
ReplyDeleteThis game will be played a year from now, lol. Those darn Riddler Trophies will be the thing that has me playing the game forever. But, there will be a time will the game won't be played since since Modern Warfare 3 comes out in 3 weeks. lol. Aww man. So many hours will be put into gaming lol.

Bah, I'd have just started playing whether JT was there or not! :P But that's cool, I haven't even LOOKED at the challenge maps yet!
ReplyDeleteYeah, this is a game with GREAT replay value, but much like you, I have a game that's coming out in 4 weeks(Ult. Marvel vs Capcom 3) that I'll be picking up that'll pull me away from Arkham City for a little while, but I get the feling I'll def be back to it in time!
