The Random Scan of the Week!
It doesn't get much more random then this! From The Incredible Hulk #83(Sept. 2005).
I think it's Australian Hulk, actually. If I'm not mistaken, Hulk was living with a tribe of Aborigines in the Australian outback in the House of M storyline.
Granted, it wasn't as bad as the Iron Man HoM x-over(now THAT was horrible!!!), but I just can't get interested in Hulk, which is weird since one of my all-time favorite comic writers(Peter David)has done such extensive work on the Hulk series.
Yeah Falisha, I guess that's a pretty good way to look at it... Although it would be more like taking all of the DC heroes, putting them on another Earth and having them forget who they used to be... Kind of...
I was actually taking a look at Peter David Hulk trades earlier today, and he wrote Hulk for even longer than I thought: 11 years straight, about 130 issues. And then he came back again about 10 years later!
Yeah, Peter wrote the Hulk title FOREVER! But even with him writing that series, I just could never get into it... That's just one of those titles/characters that I've never had any interest in.
Maybe instead of the Comic King I should become the Comic Professor. :P
Is that the British Hulk?

ReplyDeleteExactamundo Marc! That's the Aussie HoM Hulk.
ReplyDeleteWait...there are multiple hulks? I mean I admit I'm not a fan nor avid reader but I always thought there was one. Please educuate me. :) Lol.
ReplyDeleteOh pretty awesome scan by the way.
And who thought that was a good idea?
ReplyDeleteHmm, I'd say not so much another Hulk as much as an alternate version of the Hulk, Falisha. It's the regular Hulk, just in the House of M reality.
ReplyDelete"And who thought that was a good idea?" Now THAT is the real question!
Actually, I thought this was one of the better stories to come out of House of M. Some of the other tie-ins were just plain dumb.
ReplyDeleteSoo to help me better understand, it's like in DC how they have the alternate earths type deal, right?

You know what X, I like's that name. What would I call you, Professor X? lol. Isn't that title taken?
ReplyDeleteKing Professor X?! I likes. lol.
Hmm, Prof. X IS taken, isn't it! Hows about we just stick with King X then! :P
ReplyDeleteKing X it is sir. :)
ReplyDeleteHa, thank you Falisha, thank you very much!
