Hey everyone, JT here again on what many of us consider, the best weekday of all time, TGIW, it's Comic book day! My haul for this week isn't too big but as always, you guys comment below, let me know what you want to see a review for most, and you can more than likely expect to see it up and reviewed tomorrow. And of course, I'm always curious to see what you guys are reading as well, so feel free to let me know what you decided to grab at the shop.
Now, let's get to it! This week I picked up Aquaman #11, Batman: The Dark Knight #11, Green Lantern #11, Amazing Spider-Man #690, Deadpool #58, Venom #21, Jungle Book #4, and Irresistible #1. So, eight books, let me know which ones you guys would like me to review/discuss, and we'll take it from there guys. Til tomorrow, JT signing off!

ReplyDeleteI'm picking up Hit-Girl #2, Avengers 28, FF 20, Secret Avengers 29, Mighty Thor 17, Wolverine and the X-Men 14, X-men Legacy 270, X-Treme X-Men 1, Green Lantern 11, GL: New Guardians 11, Before Watchmen: Comedian 2, Amazing Spider-Man 690, and Astonishing X-Men 52.
I'd also like to hear thoughts on the Batman movie. I felt that it didn't live up to the hype, at all. I had fun playing Arkham Asylum/City for three and a half hours than sitting in the theater. I can't accept Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle. Bane had potential but wasn't used well and the only thing I enjoyed was when he kicked Batman's ass. I heard an interview on the radio with Sam Raimi stating that Hathaway blows away Pfiffer's performance. I thought it was an insult to Pfiffer. I didn't hate it but I sure as F*** didn't like it.
Just eight issues? I haven't seen the movie yet, so my opinion is not set yet.

A DC and indie-heavy week I see. I'm getting Venom for sure (so long, Remender :(...), and 90% sure I'm buying ASM (going all-in on this lizard storyline). If I had to vote, I'd like to see your thoughts on ASM.
