No more teachers, no more books...

Only two more days left in this college semester! Friday and Monday. Why they're making me attend classes on Monday I have no clue(wouldn't it make more sense to end the semester at the end of the week?)but the important thing is I'll be free and clear for about a month. That means reading alot of comics, and sitting around like a lump watching TV or playing my Playstation 3!

Since I am a horrible procrastinator, I still haven't set up my schedule for next semester yet, so I have to try to do it tomorrow, which means the best classes are probably filled already... Oh well, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. This semester has been one of my best since returning to school last year, and I honestly expect nothing less than straight A's from all of my classes. That's the good news, the bad news is that I am really starting to hate my major, which is Computer Technology.

I've been thinking about switching to Business, or to be more specific, accounting, since I've always been pretty good with numbers. However, all of my English professors tell me I should switch to Liberal Arts. That would be nice, since I really love to write(as any regular visitors to my blog have probably realized by now)but I just don't see many job opportunities out there holding a Liberal Arts degree... Oh well, sorry to bore people with aspects of my life, but the end of the college semester always makes me a little giddy!

  1. Congrats on living through another semester.

Here's all I have to say about majors, if you want to be an accountant, go with Accounting, if you want to be just about anything else, don't worry about it. No one really cares about what you got your degree in, except that you got one. Hell, I got an International Affairs degree and I'm working in Insurance, so there's that.

  2. Thanks for the words of wisdom Jason, they are very much appreciated. Since no one else in my family has been to college, I don't really have anyone to reference concerning majors, degrees, etc.

Hell, my school isn't all that helpful either. My first semester there, my(now former)advisor set me up in some computer class that was the third of a 4 class series. Since I obviously hadn't taken the first 2 classes, I had NO idea what the hell was going on in that class the whole semester!

Once again though, thanks for the advice, I'm willing to listen to any advice I can get!
