  1. This is pretty awesome. I see why, I wanna make it my background now.

  2. Huntress + Robin(Tim Drake!)= Total Awesomeness!

  3. I wonder why they haven't hooked up Huntress with anyone yet. I could see her and Jason making a good couple if he wasn't currently insane.

  4. "I could see her and Jason making a good couple if he wasn't currently insane." I had to laugh at how casually you added those last few words in! I also loved that you used, "currently". I wonder if I'd qualify as, "currently insane"...

I wish they WOULD use Huntress somewhere! She's an awesome character. Hopefully she'll be a regular in the new Birds of Prey book when it launches.

  5. Lol I'd say a little touched but not insane :P No one who's insane could have such a successful blog, except Crazy ass Grant.

Oh she, the cover I saw has her, Dinah, Oracle and Penguin for some reason...and I know how you hate him.

  6. That scan is pretty awesome sir. Huntress is quite baller too. :D

I agree with you X, huntress is awesome, I read up on her when I used to do my weekly DC women bio/reviews back in the day lol. I too hope she makes a continuing appearance in the upcoming Birds of Prey. :D or even Sirens.

  7. That is a pretty cool picture, and an obviouse choice for a desktop picture

    You are right
Huntress+Robin (Tim Drake) does= total Awesomeness

  8. You know JT, you had me smiling a HUGE smile as you were listing those names on the cover of the new Birds comic... Right up until you got up to Penguin... Grr...

Once I got to thinking about Huntress Falisha, my first thought was, "Hey, why isn't she in Sirens?". I guess that since the Sirens tend to operate on the fringe of the law(to put it mildly)Huntress would probably be trying to beat up the other Sirens as opposed to working with them!

Yeah Jozeph, that comic actually had a few choice desktop pictures, but I think this one was the best of the bunch. Plus having Tim and Helena in it didn't hurt!

X, that is true. But I don't know I would love to see Huntress and the Sirens interact in some way, I can see Selina and Helena on the verge of killing each other. Lol. All i can do is Hope. :D

  10. I'd be all for a throwdown between the Sirens and Huntress, Falisha! It could be one of those, "Super-heroes meet, have a misunderstanding and fight, before deciding to work together against a common threat." storylines. If I could read a three to six part story like that, I'd be overjoyed!

  11. Lol no idea what the deal with that is but hopefully it's quick and over with. Maybe Gail can entertain us.

I'm all for Catwoman vs. Huntress. Hell I wanna see the Birds of Prey take on the Sirens, that'd be so awesome.

  12. Now you're talking JT, B.O.P and Sirens would be Epic. We need to start sending our ideas to DC. Lol. Get paid while being dedicated comic fans. :D

  13. Yeah, I'm DEFINITELY in agreement with that idea. Hell, I say the very first major Birds story should be an x-over with the Sirens. That would be perfect...

  14. I'd love to see Dinah and Huntress confront Catwoman and that just leans to a big fight with Harley and Ivy, then you could even team them all up against.. I don't know, the Secret six or someone.

  15. With my luck, they'd probably team up to face the Penguin, a talking monkey and the Mad Hatter...

  16. Lol that's like your Trifecta of evil or something.

  17. If I was made the editor of DC Comics for one day, my first act would be to utterly obliterate those characters!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Lol would you have killed them during Blackest Night?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Dude, I'd have them killed in Brightest Day!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Lmao. That's why the sun shines so brightly? :P Okay, if you could give Scarecrow a Yellow ring, but you had to take a Green ring from Hal,Kyle, John or Guy (and they wouldn't get another, so no red for Guy) would you do it? If so, whose ring and why?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Ooo, that's a tough question... Well, Hal and Kyle are out of the picture because I've read A LOT of their comics, and as such, I'm a fan of both characters. So that leaves Guy and John... Well, I think personality-wise Guy brings more to the table, so as much as I hate to say it(especially with how good he was in GL #49), I'd have to take the ring off of John.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yeah yeah, take the ring from the black guy. Real original X. :P Lol nah, I'd agree with you. Of everyone up there I could still see John playing the hero role even without the ring. Even if he just went the Batman-route and only used gadgets and his army/marine/navy/whatever training and such.

  23. "Yeah yeah, take the ring from the black guy. Real original X." HA!!! Ah JT... I tell ya, you're good for at least one to two literal laugh out loud moments a night for me. Seriously though, out of all four of those Lanterns, John is the one I've read the least amount of comics on, which was what really dictated my choice. Alright wise guy, who would YOU strip of their ring?

    ReplyDelete
  24. The king of Comedy strikes again :) And yeah I agree I'd strip John of his ring but since I'm black it's not racist. lol but nah, I honestly think John doesn't need the ring. Hal and Kyle do, as does Guy. But of all them, I could see John continuing to fight crime without the ring. I mean I can easily see him building something or using some super suit and still being able to fight crime. Even if he just uses his Marine training and his street smarts.

  25. Yeah, I've got to agree with you on John. Hal and Kyle have ALWAYS been GL's, so I can't envision them as anything but. John and Guy weren't after Hal destroyed the Central Power Battery back in the 90's, so I could easily see either of them without, and I'd rather see Guy keep the ring, if for no other reason then to prevent him from becoming Warrior again... What the HELL was THAT all about!?!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Lol I'd heard about him AS Warrior but I'd never seen it, until I read Rebirth, but yeah, who's idea was that?! His powers were pretty awesome but it seemed a little too Venom-Symbiote-like to me from what I read.

So please explain this to me dude, John is from Earth correct? But he LOVES Xanshi. Did he live there? Was it in his sector or what?
