Overall- I'm going to make this short and(not so)sweet. I haven't enjoyed a single thing BRIAN MICHAEL BENDIS(HIS name should always be in caps, because he can do no wrong in Marvel's eyes)has written since Ultimate Spider-Man around issue #75 or so. I don't like what he has done to the Avengers... No, allow me to rephrase that. I HATE what he has done to the Avengers, pretty much from New Avengers #1 onward. I don't think BRIAN understands anything about the Marvel Universe, and if he does, he has absolutely no respect for the history of the Marvel U. However, Joe Quesada seems to love BRIAN'S work, so he has carte blanche to do whatever he wants. With that said, I'm really don't like this comic series. Dark Avengers... They might as well call this team Thunderbolts light, cause this ain't the Avengers to me. If not for Noh-Varr and Daken, I wouldn't be buying or reading this series.
After reading all that, you still want a review? OK, here it is. Dr. Doom and Morgan Le Fay battle in Latveria. Morgan wins. The Dark Avengers arrive. For some reason, Sentry rips off Morgan's head. I never realized he was a cold blooded murderer... Morgan returns because she is a time traveler and possesses Venom, who attacks Ares. Issue over.
That's about as much of a review I'm willing to give this comic. Noh-Varr stood around alot and did nothing for the most part. He did ask to go after any remaining Skrulls, which Osborn shot down. Daken did nothing. Bottom line, this comic sucked. For a score, I'll go with a 4 out of 10. My advice? Don't buy this comic.

I do remember Bendis having the Sentry take Carnage into space and tear him in two... But he didn't seem like he'd do stuff like that in the Jenkins series...

Yeah, I remember the Sentry/Carnage thing, but I remember not being bothered much by it, since with Carnage being an alien symbiote, I figured he'd survive in space. However, there is no explaining Sentry tearing of Morgan's head and expecting her to survive that. I can't imagine this version of the Sentry is the same one Paul Jenkins envisioned when he came up with the character a couple of years back.
