Story- Nite-wing continues to kill several of Blockbuster's men, which enrages Blockbuster, considering he is slowly wasting away due to a heart condition and can't go out on the streets and attend to this problem himself. Chief Redhorn, knowing about Blockbuster's condition, seems happy to put the screws to the ailing crime lord by crippling his illicit business, knowing that Blockbuster can't trace the actions of Nite-Wing back to him. Chief Redhorn also appoints a new dirty private investigator, Mac Arnot, to continue causing trouble in the 'Haven. Dick gets a tip from Oracle that Intergang, another mafia outfit, has heard about Blockbuster's failing health and have decided to make a play in Bludhaven to make it their own. Nightwing goes to investigate the building Intergang is operating out of and runs into Nite-Wing who is there for the same reason, to investigate Intergang. After a quick tussle, they are both surprised by the arrival of Torque, who tosses a bunch of dynamite at them as the issue ends.
Overall- As weird as it might seem, I kind of feel sorry for Blockbuster here. While he sits there practicality helpless and dying, his criminal empire is being picked apart by dirty cops and other mobsters. Sympathy for the devil I guess... Anyway, I really can't wait for Nightwing to mop the floor with Nite-Wing. I mean, come on, there is only room in Bludhaven for one Night(Nite)wing, and I'd think that Dick holds the monopoly there. The addition of Torque at the end was a bit of a surprise, but a pleasant one. The more characters running around with their heads twisted the wrong way the better ;) !!!!
