Layla can remember/see/knows she's best friends with Monet, but that hasn't come to pass yet. It must be so frustrating for her to try to keep it all straight.

Agreed. It's kind of been the Jamie(with some Layla thrown in) show the past few issues, so I'm def looking forward to the focus shifting to(hopefully) Shatterstar.x-man75https://www.blogger.com/profile/10292719455945603075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-5027716951995765902012-04-26T14:04:14.794-04:002012-04-26T14:04:14.794-04:00I'm glad everyone had the same response to thi...I'm glad everyone had the same response to this issue as I did, because I, too, thought the Layla stuff was the most interesting. I never really thought about the fact that Layla lives in the past, present, and future, and it's got to suck to want to tell Monet that, I don't know, she finally slept with Jamie, but then to remember that she's not friends with Monet yet.

I love character-development issues, but I'm definitely ready for 'Star to kick some ass next issue.JWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18384937330661711685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-59464810516047915272012-04-24T01:58:02.471-04:002012-04-24T01:58:02.471-04:00Huh, I literally DID forget about those three char...Huh, I literally DID forget about those three characters, Anon...

Agreed on Layla, WOD. Especially after she told M that they wound up as best friends and M totally blew her off. Layla often comes across as almost emotionless, the chess master moving the pieces around the board, so it was great to see she DOES care about people these past few issues. And yeah, this was another set-up issue, no doubt. You have to think next issue finally gives us our next big X-Factor story. The team's been pretty much spinning their wheels since Jamie died.x-man75https://www.blogger.com/profile/10292719455945603075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-75562430024987803862012-04-23T12:11:02.532-04:002012-04-23T12:11:02.532-04:00I've been relying on your blog to tell me whic...I've been relying on your blog to tell me which comics are good and been commenting so much as an Anon I finally decided to actually log in for once. lol

Anyways, i felt kind of bad for Layla in this one. I mean, it seems like there's a lot of background stuff we never get to see with her and she's tired of everyone thinking this is one big game for her. She tries to convey this to Monet, but she gets brushed off.

The rest of the comic i felt was a lot like the last, where it set things up but nothing really happened. I'm looking forward to the next issue though. Apparently Shatterstar goes berserk and that's always a lot of fun to watch.WaterOracleDelphihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06195121987174344859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-91376033571124681802012-04-23T09:24:39.141-04:002012-04-23T09:24:39.141-04:00I feel like we've all forgetten something big,...I feel like we've all forgetten something big, like I dunno 3 monstrous villains from other dimensions but that might just be me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
