Plus, wouldn't he figure out Spidey is Peter Parker, since it's common knowledge he was in the Ultimate World? It just raises WAY too many questions.Jason Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07796190974001777556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-56658282314577247052012-06-30T13:27:42.259-04:002012-06-30T13:27:42.259-04:00It was a fun issue, some funny dialogue and just a...It was a fun issue, some funny dialogue and just a pretty good Spidey comic overall. As I mentioned in my review, there was a slight error in the writing. The part where Miles says "For real it's really him?" Then in the next panel the dialogue cloud has him saying "Kinda sorta" directly after, which doesn't make sense.

https://p.twimg.com/AwmAbPgCQAAOVhb.jpgDestroyer14https://www.blogger.com/profile/11315910481120364653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-87554256956270813682012-06-30T11:31:45.930-04:002012-06-30T11:31:45.930-04:00I don't think you can use ASM as a reference. ...I don't think you can use ASM as a reference. Different writer, different comic, and could very possibly be a different interpretation of Mysterio. But, more importantly, I don't know how you could interpret 616 Mysterio sending an Ultimate Mysterio robot to the Ultimate universe after he has been giving hints about screwing with the Ultimate universe any other way than saying they are the same person.jermoxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12260256232935630988noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-27406889890296290322012-06-30T08:46:12.644-04:002012-06-30T08:46:12.644-04:00Ultimate Mysterio is not 616 Mysterio, they act co...Ultimate Mysterio is not 616 Mysterio, they act completely different, just look at the last few issues of ASM mysterio and spider-man have a completely different kind of interaction than what we saw here regardless of whether they were with or against each other at the time.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-29642732347139752312012-06-30T04:38:34.048-04:002012-06-30T04:38:34.048-04:00I am kind of excited about this one. The background of this Mysterio was never really fleshed out but I remember him being kind of a bad-ass. This issue pretty much confirmed what I was guessing last issue. The Ultimate version of Mysterio is the same guy as the 616 Mysterio. It looks like he just sends that weird robot he controls to the Ultimate universe to pretty much wreak havoc on a younger and inexperienced Spider-Man.

Looking up on Wiki I remember that Mysterio killed the Kingpin and pretty much is the new Kingpin of New York. Kind of cool that they wrote him as the same guy.jermoxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12260256232935630988noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-57354721200340634972012-06-29T17:04:15.460-04:002012-06-29T17:04:15.460-04:00Sounds good to me dude, expect that on Sunday then...Sounds good to me dude, expect that on Sunday then. And yeah, it's probably one of the three best books coming outta DC at the moment, in my opinion anyway, along with Batman and Green Lantern, hopefully I don't have to eat those words come Sunday!Jason Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07796190974001777556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-68350767057684384642012-06-29T16:55:13.728-04:002012-06-29T16:55:13.728-04:00I'm honored :D Let's go with Aquaman! I know you said it's currently one of your favorite comics currently (Not sure if you just meant DC or all of comics) So I'd like to see what you think of this one. I was never a fan of Aquaman before the New 52 so maybe this would be a good way for me to start liking him. Well, I'll be looking forward to ASM tomorrow, :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-92158630732579800462012-06-29T16:07:24.099-04:002012-06-29T16:07:24.099-04:00Yeah, it wasn't the best excuse but meh, I'...Yeah, it wasn't the best excuse but meh, I'll take it if IO have to, ya know? And tomorrow's review is gonna be ASM #688, Sunday will be either Batman The Dark Knight or Aquaman, and since you asked, I'll let you pick haha.Jason Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07796190974001777556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-11764046078749915232012-06-29T16:00:59.867-04:002012-06-29T16:00:59.867-04:00Yeah, I didn't know that he could do that eith...Yeah, I didn't know that he could do that either, but I don't really read any comics with him anyway (Aside from FCBD) :P I barely heard about the Venom sting in itself! Well I guess being disoriented helps enough....still mildly skeptical, but it's not like I can go change what happened or anything. Still a good issue, which review are you doing next?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-22986360510322087922012-06-29T15:11:56.223-04:002012-06-29T15:11:56.223-04:00You'd better believe I was gonna call them on ...You'd better believe I was gonna call them on that lol, but they kinda made an excuse by saying Spidey was disoriented from his cross-universe voyage, which was reason enough for me, plus Miles knocked him out with the Venom Sting which he sent through a web... I didn't even know he could DO that.Jason Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07796190974001777556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-16488833948971227912012-06-29T14:17:11.666-04:002012-06-29T14:17:11.666-04:00Miles beat Spidey!!!!!!!!! He almost took down Thor when they fought! To lose to Miles seems a bit sad. Still, this does sound tons better than issue 1. Maybe the series has hope yet :DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
