And that's not a statement I make lightly, because Bendis was brutal during the middle part of his Avengers run. But Lobdell... I just don't know... All I'll say is this, we only have to suffer through Lobdell for a few more issues, and then he'll be off this series, hopefully forever. But this issue? Absolutely terrible. Bad, bad, bad stuff...x-man75https://www.blogger.com/profile/10292719455945603075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-53451272732862304722013-02-13T11:48:40.511-05:002013-02-13T11:48:40.511-05:00OMG, it was awful. I really dug "Detective Comics" #16, where we saw Batman address a side issue related to Joker's presence in Gotham. So, this issue could've really delved into that issue. Instead, it gave us weird characterizations and an unbelievable plot. Lobdell strikes again.JWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18384937330661711685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-74286229771030588442013-01-26T22:18:01.770-05:002013-01-26T22:18:01.770-05:00In a sick sort of way? Would Croc ...The Croc thing is SO weird, Jermox... Would Croc not want to bother killing Roy because he was a suicidal drug addict though? I mean wouldn't killing any hero give you a bigger name? But then, maybe the Croc in the New 52 is a good guy. I don't know(which is part of the problem...). But him being Roy's sponsor?! That's just madness!! And I agree with that last line so much. But then I think Marvel learned from DC's mistakes when they did the Marvel Now! stuff, whereas DC had no one else to look to.x-man75https://www.blogger.com/profile/10292719455945603075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-83853350320775162382013-01-26T19:56:54.023-05:002013-01-26T19:56:54.023-05:00X i'd be lying if I said i didn't enjoy wh...X i'd be lying if I said i didn't enjoy when you read bad comics lol.Astrovikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12099168103566834625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8091466292216433701.post-83385972663648827102013-01-26T16:04:19.869-05:002013-01-26T16:04:19.869-05:00Wow, I haven't read this in awhile. I can understand Red Hood not being in the comic since the Bat Family is kidnapped and these are the other teams trying to deal with the missing members. But, the rest sounds like crap. The first time they showed Croc I thought you could maybe, maybe justify Croc not wanting to bother killing a suicidal drug addict but I can't buy Croc playing AA sponsor. DC needs to really take notes from Marvel on how to reboot comics.jermoxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12260256232935630988noreply@blogger.com
